Hello my name is Peter Rowlands and I own P & M Photography. My interest in photography started way back in the 70s when I was still in school. I progressed from just taking the odd snap shot to setting up my own Darkroom. I really have to thank my parents for allowing me to commandeer their basement to setup the darkroom.
I’ve never been afraid to try new techniques; in my early days I enjoyed using lith film and experimenting solarization and selective colour. Before the days of digital cameras and photoshop I would develop black & white photos and then selectively hand tint the colours back in, today it’s all done with a few clicks of a mouse.
Evenutually I made the switch to digital and in 2007 I finally took the plunge and started P & M Photography
